BASF launches Keropur® Gasoline Performance Additive Series certified for new U.S. TOP TIER+™ Standard
 

BASF announces the upcoming launch of its next-generation Keropur Gasoline Performance Additive Series, engineered to meet and exceed the newly revised U.S. TOP TIER+™ detergent gasoline standard and deliver superior performance against EPA’s Lowest Additive Concentration (LAC) requirements. The product is also expected to be approved by CARB (California Air Resources Board). The new Keropur AP 225-20 formulation will be commercially available well ahead of the mandatory implementation deadline of January 2027, ensuring customers have ample time to transition smoothly. BASF and Hagihara Industries collaborate to deliver highly durable artificial grass for sports fields

BASF, a global leader in chemical innovation, and Hagihara Industries, Inc., a leading synthetic fiber producer in Japan, have joined forces to develop highly durable polyolefin yarns for artificial turf used in sports arenas, including football stadiums, baseball fields, and tennis courts. After three years of collaborative research and development, the two companies have created an advanced formulation with a series of Tinuvin® grades that significantly enhances the durability of synthetic grass, making it less susceptible to damage from sun exposure and ensuring it retains its vibrant color.
