The construction industry in Dubai is going through a period of change: instead of higher, faster and bigger, more and more contractors are opting for sustainable solutions. BASF supplies the construction sites of the world’s tallest building Burj Dubai, the Dubai metro and the luxury East Hotel with energyefficient construction materials.

In the United States, BASF Plant Science scientists develop genetically optimized crops including corn and soybean. The purpose is to offer farmers crops with new characteristics that provide enhanced nutritional value, higher yield, or more resistance to environmentally adverse conditions and plant diseases.
