The eco-friendly way to clean dishes

Automatic dishwasher tablets facilitate our daily routine because they are easy to use. A balanced formulation of the numerous ingredients is necessary to ensure an excellent washing result. BASF’s chelating agent Trilon® M has emerged as the preferred alternative to water-polluting phosphates which will expectedly be banned in the EU as of 2017. The innovative product based on methylglycinediacetic acid is readily biodegradable and improves the cleaning effect of modern dishwasher detergents. The main task of chelating agents is the absorption of the metal ions contained in hard water to prevent the forming of deposits on the dishes.
