BASF Supervisory Board extends appointment of four Executive Board members by five years

Ludwigshafen, Germany – July 22, 2015 – The Supervisory Board of BASF SE today extended the appointment of BASF Chairman Dr. Kurt Bock (57) to the Board of Executive Directors as well as his appointment as Chairman until the end of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in 2021. The appointment was originally scheduled to expire in 2016.

The Supervisory Board also extended the appointments of Dr. Martin Brudermüller (54), Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors; Chief Financial Officer Dr. Hans-Ulrich Engel (56); and Dr. Harald Schwager (55), member of the Board of Executive Directors, by five years.
