BASF is expanding the application focus of its Ultrason® portfolio to advance the development of electrical and electronic (E&E) components used in AI-driven data centers, high-speed connectivity and e-mobility. BASF’s polyarylethersulfones (PAES) thus support E&E manufacturers, OEMs and data center operators who require materials that maintain reliable operation, signal integrity and long service life as well as ensure fire safety and efficient thermal management. 

BASF and UPC Technology Corporation (UPC) signed a strategic Letter of Intent (LoI) on LowPCF products during the BASF & UPC Technology Low Carbon Footprint Strategic Partnership Summit held on September 1, 2026, at UPC's Zhuhai site. BASF Kids’ Lab, an interactive, hands-on science education program, brought chemistry to life for around 200 children in Singapore on September 4 and 5, 2026, at Tampines Changkat Community Club.
