BASF receives BCA Green Mark Platinum Award in Singapore

Singapore – October 29, 2024 – BASF South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (BSEA) head office was awarded the coveted BCA (Building and Construction Authority) Green Mark Platinum Award based on the BCA-HPB (Health Promotion Board) Green Mark for Healthier Workplaces (HW: 2018) scheme. This accolade highlights the ongoing commitment of BASF to sustainability through innovative office design and ensuring the health and well-being of employees.
BSEA moved its head office to Guoco Midtown in 2023. The head office is a showcase of sustainability, featuring state-of-the-art green technologies, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable materials. Wellness initiatives and events such as Health & Wellness Week are also organized throughout the year to cater to employees’ nutritional, physical, and mental well-being.

The BCA Green Mark Scheme is an initiative to foster a more sustainable environment in Singapore. It encourages sustainable design and advocates for best practices in constructing and operating buildings that are more energy and resource-efficient, as well as climate-responsive. The BCA-HPB Green Mark for Healthier Workplaces scheme takes into additional consideration the health, comfort and well-being of the building users and occupants, recognizing workplaces that promote healthier indoor environments.
