BASF to increase prices for Dispersions and Resins for Architectural, Industrial, Printing & Packaging industries in North America
CHARLOTTE, NC, APRIL 18, 2022 – Effective May 1, 2022, or as existing contracts allow, BASF Dispersions & Resins is increasing prices in the following categories:
Dispersions for Architectural and Industrial industries will increase up to $0.12/lb. The product lines include ACRONAL® and AQACell®. These price increases are driven by surging raw material, transportation, and energy costs.
Due to the severe escalation of costs for key raw materials over the past four weeks, Resins, under the product names JONCRYL® and ACROFLOR®, will increase as follows:
- Emulsions: $0.05/lb
- Polyols: $0.12/lb
- Solid Resins: $0.07/lb
- Resin Solutions: $0.03/lb
These increases are necessary to provide a continued and sustainable supply to our customers.
