BASF introduces MV-Block epoxy system for moisture mitigation and surface consolidation

SHAKOPEE, MN, July 7, 2011 – The Building Systems business of BASF’s Construction Chemicals Division has introduced MV-Block, a moisture mitigation and surface consolidation solution. MV-Block joins the complete line of Chemrex® Flooring Installation Systems as an enabler to improve efficiencies while lowering overall installation costs. 

MV-Block has been specifically engineered for application over concrete substrates and features rapid curing to improve installation time and process throughput. MV-Block is a high-build epoxy coating that bonds aggressively to concrete while providing a superior moisture vapor block for safe flooring installations.

The high build epoxy coating can also be used as a surface consolidation coating to speed flooring projects and improve overall installation quality. MV-Block is simple to apply and will reduce labor, material and rework costs, as well as application time.
