Greenhouse Grower names Bob’s Market and Greenhouse Operation of the Year and Mike Friddle of Speedling, Inc., Head Grower of the Year
COLUMBUS, OH, July 11, 2011 – BASF Professional Turf & Ornamentals and Greenhouse Grower magazine have recognized Bob's Market and Greenhouses in Mason, West Virginia, as Operation of the Year and Mike Friddle, Speedling Inc. in Sun City, Florida, as Head Grower of the Year. Both awards were part of the Evening of Excellence reception during the OFA Short Course in Columbus, Ohio.
The peer-nominated awards recognize industry operations and head growers embracing and exemplifying modern, high-quality growing practices, innovative marketing, strong customer service, and community and industry leadership. The head grower must also lead, motivate and mentor staff, and make valuable contributions to the operation’s management team.
