BASF Canada supports multiculturalism at the Carrousel of the Nations festival in Windsor

Windsor, ON, & MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 7, 2013 – BASF today presented the Multicultural Council of Windsor with a $2,500 donation in support of the “Carrousel by the River” festival taking place at Riverfront Plaza June 7-9. Carrousel of Nations will then continue the following two weekends with 13 villages highlighting food, music, art and culture

The donation, which supports the Gate entrance area, was presented to Mike Drake, Board President of the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex Country, along with Carrousel Co-Chairs, Janice Forsyth and Jeff Glad.

“Diversity and inclusion are core elements of BASF’s business success,” said Guido Broche, Director for BASF’s Windsor site. “The Carrousel of the Nations festival showcases Windsor’s diversity and celebrates multiculturalism. We are proud to support this cultural tradition in our community.”

The Multicultural Council has hosted Carrousel of the Nations for more than 38 years. The event showcases world cuisine, music and art. This year, the new Riverfront Stage will feature both local and global artists.
