BASF welcomes new operators to Geismar site

GEISMAR, LA, July 22, 2013 -- As part of its continuing site growth, BASF’s Geismar, Louisiana site recently welcomed 21 new employees as plant operators.

These operators recently completed a seven-week training curriculum that helped further prepare them for their production roles in the plant.

BASF has announced more than $300 million in new investments in the last two years at the Geismar site—the largest BASF site in North America. More than 1,500 employees and contractors work at BASF Geismar. For more information about careers at BASF, visit http://careers.basf.us.
