BASF launches new website for the mass transit industry

WYANDOTTE, MI, July 24, 2013 -- BASF Corporation has launched a new website, www.mass-transit.basf.us , targeted to the mass transit industry. 

Mass transit is typically defined as large-scale public transportation through various vehicle segments, of which, BASF has specifically focused its efforts around bus and passenger rail.  “Generally servicing urban and metropolitan areas, this market is driven by an increasing need for sustainable mobility coupled with enhanced passenger comfort and safety requirements,” said Tomas Lopez, BASF Mass Transit Team Leader.  “BASF’s broad portfolio of products and innovation platforms helps us to serve this industry at every step of the manufacturing process.”
