BASF leader Jolen Stein inducted into the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, October 15, 2025 — BASF today announced that Jolen Stein, Senior Director, People Services at BASF’s Verbund site in Geismar, Louisiana, has been named as one of 12 outstanding leaders who make up the 2025 class of Women in Manufacturing (WiM) Hall of Fame inductees.

The WiM Hall of Fame was created in 2019 by the Women in Manufacturing Association to recognize those who have made, or are making, significant contributions to the manufacturing industry while supporting, promoting, and inspiring other women in manufacturing.

Stein’s career in manufacturing spans more than 20 years. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Human Resources, Labor Relations, Medical Services, Workforce Development, Communications and Public Affairs by designing, developing, and implementing progressive and comprehensive programs to meet current and future needs of the Geismar site. As a member of BASF’s Manufacturing Steering Committee for North America, she provides counsel and leadership for the region’s strategy for the manufacturing workforce.

Stein and her fellow inductees were nominated by their colleagues and industry peers and selected by a judging panel of WiM Executive Committee Board Members. The inductees were chosen based on their significant contributions to the advancement of women in manufacturing.
