BASF leader Denise Hartmann inducted into the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, October 30, 2026 — BASF today announced that Denise Hartmann, Senior Vice President, Dispersions and Resins Americas, has been named as one of 10 outstanding leaders who make up the 2026 class of Women in Manufacturing (WIM) Hall of Fame inductees.

The WIM Hall of Fame honors outstanding women who have made exceptional contributions through their efforts to support, promote, and inspire women in manufacturing. Since its inception, 79 women have been inducted into the WIM Hall of Fame, recognizing their achievements, leadership, and lasting impact on the people and organizations they have helped shape.

Over more than 25 years with BASF, Hartmann has built a distinguished career grounded in technical expertise, operational excellence, and a steadfast commitment to people development. Beginning as an engineer in BASF’s Professional Development Program, she has held leadership roles across engineering, operations, finance, marketing, and business management, ultimately becoming a senior manufacturing executive responsible for the North and South American division of the Dispersions and Resins business.

“We congratulate Denise for her induction into the WIM Hall of Fame, an honor that recognizes her outstanding leadership at BASF and across the manufacturing industry,” said Heather Remley, President & CEO of BASF Corporation. “At BASF, Denise is known throughout her career for her commitment to safety and innovation, her drive for business success, and her dedication to developing the next generation of manufacturing talent. She has been and will continue to be a strong advocate for our manufacturing community.”

Hartmann and her fellow inductees were nominated by their colleagues and industry peers and selected by a judging panel of WIM Executive Committee Board Members. The inductees were chosen based on their significant contributions to the advancement of women in manufacturing.

BASF is a sponsor of WIM, providing its employees with free memberships and discounts for conferences, as well as other resources for networking, recruitment and professional development.

Hartmann and the rest of the 2026 inductee class were officially welcomed into the Hall of Fame during the 16th annual WIM SUMMIT, held October 7-9 in Las Vegas.
