Dispersions, Resins and Additives

UV absorbers

Tinuvin® and Chimassorb® UV absorbers (UVA) for water-based, solvent based, and solvent-free formulations.

Modern paints, coatings, and inks are expected to deliver superior coverage while maintaining long-lasting aesthetic appeal and protection. However, continuous exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, heat, humidity, temperature fluctuations, air pollutants, and other environmental factors can accelerate degradation, leading to color fading, resin yellowing, loss of gloss, and reduced coating performance.

Our comprehensive portfolio of Light Stabilizers is designed to help coatings withstand these challenges and extend the service life of UV-sensitive substrates. Built on advanced stabilization technologies, our solutions protect organic coatings, inks, adhesives, and substrates by minimizing the damaging effects of sunlight and environmental exposure. By preventing UV-induced degradation, UVAs help preserve color, maintain apperance, and reduce resin yellowing.
