Die Katalysatoren verlassen nach dem Brennvorgang den Ofen. Dabei wird die Beschichtung, die zum Teil aus Edelmetallen besteht, auf dem Träger getrocknet. In dem Nienburger Werk werden Abgaskatalysatoren für benzin- und dieselbetriebene Fahrzeuge wie Pkws, Lkws, Busse, Bau- und Geländefahrzeuge oder Motorräder produziert.

The catalysts leave the oven right after the drying process. During this production stage, the slurry, which contains precious metals amongst other ingredients, is dried onto the substrate. At the Nienburg site emissions control catalysts for gasoline- and diesel-powered cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, construction equipment and other vehicles are produced.
