BASF to exhibit automotive refinish solutions at NACE 2012

SOUTHFIELD, MI, September 27, 2012 -- BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions will exhibit the latest tools to improve collision center productivity, build customer satisfaction and enhance profitability at Booth #N1229 at the 2012 International Autobody Collision Exposition(NACE), Oct. 11-13, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

During the show, experts from BASF – a leading manufacturer of coatings for the collision repair, commercial fleet and automotive specialty markets – will be on hand to discuss innovative collision repair services and tools. This includes the latest waterborne and color technologies that offer superb color matching and reduced cycle times, and exceed North American volatile organic compound (VOC) regulations and original equipment manufacturer factory-finish standards.

“Today’s consumers are much savvier when it comes to researching collision repair shops and processes,” said Vitor Margaronis, Marketing Director, Coatings Solutions, North America. “They’re going online, reading reviews and learning about repair procedures. This means, more than ever, shops need to offer the very best in products and services in order to keep their customers and uphold quality – and BASF is at the forefront of helping them do just that.“

Refinish offerings from BASF – which include Glasurit®, R-M® and Limco® paint products – are supported by technical training programs, advanced color information systems and business management seminars. BASF also offers a wide array of Internet-based color-management, business management and facility planning tools to its collision shop and fleet customers.
