BASF to increase kaolin prices globally for paper applications

CHARLOTTE, NC, October 31, 2013 – Effective immediately, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase kaolin prices globally for paper applications. Prices will be increased by up to 7%, with the amount of the increase dependent on the product.  BASF’s energy surcharge policy remains unchanged with the threshold at $5/mmbtu.
