SLENTITE ® -  Isolamento de alto desempenho com aerogel orgânico

SLENTITE ® é o primeiro painel de isolamento aerogel baseado em poliuretano de alto desempenho que precisa de apenas metade do espaço para fazer o mesmo trabalho que materiais convencionais.

Ao secar um gel, é produzido um novo aerogel orgânico mecanicamente estável que tem poros minúsculos cheios de ar, mas mesmo assim aberto que medem apenas 50 a 100 nanômetros de tamanho. Assim, os pesquisadores da BASF inventaram um novo material isolante que restringe o movimento das moléculas de ar, de modo que a transferência de calor seja reduzida e, ao mesmo tempo, seja capaz de adsorvo e liberação de umidade.

Slentiteâ ¢ ist die erste Hochleistungsdämmplatte der BASF auf Polyurethanbasis, die bei gleicher Dämmleistung nur halb so viel Platz benötigt wie herkömmliche Materialien. Bei dem organischen Aerogel besteht rund 90 % des Volumens aus mit Luft gefüllten offenen Poren, die lediglich einen Durchmesser von 50 bis 100 Nanometer haben. Dadurch wird die Bewegungsfreiheit der Luftmoleküle einge-schränkt und die Wärme-leitung reduziert. Einsatzgebiete des Hoch-leistungsdämmstoffs sind unter anderem Alt- und Neubauten.
