More than just a job, BASF’s TOP START International Business Leader Program is a highly selective trainee program, targeting ambitious business graduates and young professionals with an international profile and leadership potential to develop tomorrow’s leaders for BASF through a three-year program with three rotations tackling business-critical projects and initiatives, with at least one having an international focus.

Program overview

Duration
•   3 years in total, with 3 rotations each for 1 year
•   High responsibility and real impact from day one
Your journey
•   Option to shape your own journey depending on background and interest
•   Flexibility to choose from different business functions within BASF
Location
•   China or Germany as starting point
•   At least 1 year in an international assignment
Development
•   Annual management training and personal coaching
•   Regular feedback sessions and development plan
Exposure
•   Trainee program sponsored by a steering council including board members and presidents
•   Individual mentoring by a senior manager
Community
