We are delivering and supporting end-to-end supply chain excellence through technical and process expertise, working closely with the Operating Divisions (ODs) to facilitate and optimize planning processes and solutions with focus on supply chain planning landscape in China. The team supports Global New Planning Landscape project and ODs in translation of business requirements into system solutions, in compliance with BASF standards and Chinese regulations. From a content perspective, this includes:

Supply Chain Planning process and system design as well as the interfacing processes
Close alignment with the relevant ODs regional and global supply chain planning initiatives

The Cyber Security team helps to secure digital business in China, by protecting new business models which don’t have to follow BASF Global standards but are required to adapt the speed-to-market.

The Security Architecture Team looks into Chinese Digital Solutions, designs security architectures to operate them in a secure manner, thereby respecting the China Security Law and related laws, like DSL or PIPL. Furthermore the Cyber Security team evaluates their security (e.g. via risk assessments and pen-tests) and makes recommendations to the business how to improve security and fix potential flaws.

As the likelihood of attack is expected to be higher for China we establish a strong Cyber Security Defense Team with a Forensics capability and a Security Audit & Remediation Team that also conducts Vulnerablity Assessments for the business. Check out available roles in Cyber Security.
