Bangkok, Thailand – October 29, 2026 – BASF is bringing its vision of future beauty innovation to life at in-cosmetics Asia 2026 in Bangkok with the launch of Lincare™, a naturally derived active ingredient designed to support post-laser skincare routine, helping promote a rejuvenated, healthy-looking appearance after treatment.
As aesthetic treatments become increasingly mainstream, consumers are seeking solutions that not only support recovery but also help to promote further rejuvenation after treatment. Lincare™ addresses this growing need by supporting key skin-recovery mechanisms while helping enhance visible aesthetic results. “The convergence of aesthetics and skin care is opening new opportunities for innovation across the beauty industry. Lincare™ embodies BASF's commitment to advancing skin science and enabling the next generation of post-procedure beauty solutions”, said Lucilene Veira Nunes, Global Business Management, Beauty Care Solutions at BASF.
Lincare™: Supporting recovery while enhancing visible aesthetic outcomes
Derived from flaxseed hull oligosaccharides, Lincare™ supports multiple phases of the skin-recovery process. It helps soothe post-treatment skin, supports epidermal recovery, promotes extracellular matrix remodelling, and strengthens the skin barrier, while enhancing the visible rejuvenation benefits after laser procedures. Clinical testing demonstrated that following non-ablative fractional laser treatment*, a formulation containing 1% Lincare™ helped the skin barrier recover 21% faster, enabling recovery approximately 1.2 days earlier than placebo. In addition to supporting recovery, Lincare™ strengthened barrier performance beyond pre-treatment levels, delivering up to twice the barrier improvement compared with placebo after 14 days. The study also demonstrated greater visible improvements in signs of aging when Lincare™ was included in the post-laser skincare routine, compared with the group without. Clinical assessments demonstrated:
1.8x greater improvement in the appearance of forehead fine lines
1.5x greater improvement in the appearance of crow's feet
1.4x greater improvement in the appearance of nasolabial folds
In addition, participants using Lincare™ achieved up to 16% greater skin density after 56 days, while laser treatment alone did not produce a measurable improvement over the same period. Together, these findings position Lincare™ as a multifunctional solution for post-laser skin care, helping consumers return to healthy looking skin faster while enhancing visible rejuvenation results.
*Based on clinical evaluation following non-ablative fractional 1565 nm laser treatment
