Product Performance and Benefits

  • The closed-cell purple foam can be simply and quickly sprayed onto surfaces and cures in a very short time.
  • Due to its initial liquid state, it enables all joints and hard-to-reach areas to be fully sealed; leading to great design freedom for even complex building structures while reducing heat loss and preventing infiltration of pollutants, toxins and allergens
  • Helps to maintain comfortable indoor temperature conducive for living and working
  • Protects against premature deterioration of building materials.
  • Reduces energy loss and saves valuable space due to low thermal conductivity. Combats climate change and energy supply shortage.
  • Thermosetting rigid insulation foam meeting with the B1 Class of fire resistance (GB8624-2012). In additionally, no melting in case of fire.

WALLTITE® applicators are trained to assist you in:

  • Statutory requirements, planning regulations & product standards
  • Insulation options and comparisonRecommendation on design based on building type
  • Thermal performance calculationsCondensation risk analysis
  • Selection of correct materials and equipment based on weather conditions
  • Troubleshooting and technical support
  • Applicator health and safety measures
  • Installation site isolation, ventilation and fire prevention measures.
  • Installation site

The training is conducted by BASF experts from various fields of expertise such as engineering, chemistry, application and architecture. Certification is issued to applicators who successfully passed both classroom and field training.

The Quality Assurance Program provides safety and control for applicators as well as architects and developers. It consists of the following services:

  • High standard training and certification program to applicators
  • Strict applicator qualifying and grading program
  • On-site testing including fully equipped testing kit
  • Installation process logging and documentation
  • Site and installation quality audit
  • On-site technical support and field training

Engineering support is provided throughout the project planning to execution process.

  • Consultation in project design and insulation options
  • Compliance with National and Provincial standards and regulations
  • CAD drawings of typical roof and wall insulation design
  • On-site technical support and field training
