"CORPUS. Constructing Tomorrow" from BASF has won the 2016 German Design Award. A jury of international experts from industry, higher education, the media and design has commended the magazine in the "Apps" category for communication design excellence.

CORPUS is the BASF customer magazine for all those who want to learn how buildings will be built and lives will be lived in the years to come. It illuminates major trends in urban planning and architecture and shows how we can meet such challenges as urbanization, dwindling resources and forward-looking construction.

The planning and design of construction projects call for intelligent ideas that promote sustainability and the use of new materials – and at the same time help conserve natural resources. To track down the solutions of tomorrow, CORPUS talks to today's architects, engineers and planners and accompanies innovative case studies from planning through to completion. In the sections on Architecture, Infrastructure, Urban Environment and Research & Development, the magazine reports on the latest developments and elucidates them with animations, videos and graphics.

The free app is available for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire. Four issues of the digital magazine appear each year.

The German Design Award won by CORPUS is one of the world's most prestigious prizes for product and communication design and one that honors overarching design trends. It is awarded by the German Design Council, one of the leading competence centers for communication and branding in the design sector.
