BASF expands production capacity for dispersions for the architectural coatings and construction industries in Dilovası, Türkiye

  • BASF has started up a new production line in Dilovası, Türkiye, which will enhance capacity and extend the product portfolio at the site for the architectural coatings and construction industries.

Ludwigshafen, Germany – October 07, 2025 – BASF has started up a new production line dedicated to dispersions for architectural coatings and construction materials at its facility in Dilovası, Türkiye. The expansion has significantly increased production capacity at the Dilovası site, allowing BASF to meet the rising demand for dispersions in Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa. It also extends the regional product portfolio, which can now cover for a shift in local customer needs and drive innovation.

The new production line enables BASF to better serve the architectural coatings and construction industries by providing low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions, which improve indoor air quality. The Dilovası site has also implemented the Mass Balance approach, enabling the production of dispersions with a reduced carbon footprint. The entire facility will operate on green electricity, further demonstrating BASF's commitment to helping its customers achieve the green transformation.
