Florham Park, New Jersey, March 30, 2026 –

BASF Pharma Solutions today announced a global price increase for excipients and selected active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) supplied by the company. The adjustment supports BASF’s commitment to maintaining a reliable supply of high-quality products across its portfolio amid rising global energy and raw material costs.

A price increase of up to 20% will go into immediate effect, or as existing contracts allow. BASF Pharma Solutions will continue to monitor market conditions and communicate any future adjustments as needed.

Excipients are inactive ingredients that play a critical role in pharmaceutical formulations. APIs are the active components responsible for the therapeutic effect of medicines.
