Learn about chemistry from a new angle – you will be truly amazed. Whether you already have some previous knowledge, or have just decided to discover chemistry for yourself, an exciting day awaits you on the five floors over which our exhibition is spread. Let yourself be inspired by our video. You can also experience one of our fascinating BASF events first hand.

Opening hours

The exhibition is open from monday till friday from 9 am to 4 pm (except public holidays)

The Visitor Center is closed on public holidays

Winter closing period: December 15th until January 2nd 2026

2026 Summer closing period: July 20th until August 7th
2026 Winter closong period: December 14th until 2027 January 1st

Visitor Parking Gate 2 - Closing in 2026

Due to ongoing construction work, the visitor parking lot at Gate 2 will be unavailable for an indefinite period starting January 5th, 2026.
Alternative Parking: Visitors are advised to use the designated parking area at Gate 1.
Access Information: Carl-Bosch-Straße, when approaching from Gate 7, must be accessed via the Cityring.
You will receive the required QR code via email the day before your visit, if you have reserved a program with us.
