Power Platform Developer
As a Power Platform Developer, you will join BASF’s Digital Hub for Care Chemicals and build business applications and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI. Your mission is to turn real business processes into simple, reliable digital solutions that improve transparency, standardization, and execution—working closely with stakeholders across functions (with a strong focus on operations topics). This position will report to the Managing Director of Croatia and the Global Leader of Digitalization at Care Chemicals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain Power Apps (canvas) for process execution (mobile/tablet/web)
- Build workflows in Power Automate (approvals, notifications,routing, SLA reminders, reporting)
- Design data models and implement secure storage in Dataverse (and/or SharePoint where appropriate)
- Build model-driven apps in Dataverse for structured processes (forms, views, business rules, role-based UX)
- Deliver Power BI reports and dashboards (semantic modeling, measures, user-friendly visuals)
- Integrate data across enterprise sources via standard connectors and APIs (where needed)
- Apply governance and ALM practices: environments, solutions, deployments, monitoring, and support
- Drive requirement workshops, create clear user stories, and deliver iteratively with user feedback
- Produce concise documentation and enable adoption (training, handover, continuous improvement)

EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Power Apps + Power Automate in business scenarios
- Experience with Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles) and structured data modeling
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI reports used by business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills: able to translate business needs into usable app/report designs
- Ownership mindset: deliver, stabilize, and improve solutions in production
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required:
- Power Apps (Canvas), Power Automate (cloud flows)
- Dataverse fundamentals (modeling + security)
- Model-driven apps (Dataverse forms/views, business rules, security roles)
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX basics, report design)
Bonus:
- Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Production domain experience (process understanding, terminology)
- SQL (querying/joins, basic performance awareness; supporting reporting and integrations)
- SAP integration exposure (connectors, exports, ID-based matching, governance)
- Agentic AI / Copilot Studio experience
- Databricks familiarity (reading curated tables, working with data engineering teams)
