Our career pages provide all the information on the application process and all the training programs BASF offers.
We offer a wide range of joint work/study programs. Our career pages provide all the information on the application process and all the study programs BASF offers.
The commitment to employ trainees after completion of their training depends on BASF's long-term personnel requirements. Corporate management and the Works Council have defined criteria outlining their policy on offering permanent positions at BASF SE. Anyone who exhibits the necessary skills and achieves the required grades over the entire training program period at all three locations (vocational school or university, central and company training) is usually offered a permanent position at BASF. Regular feedback from instructors keep apprentices continually informed of their current and individual performance and enable them to manage their individual chances of securing a permanent job at BASF after their training. Apprentices are also notified in good time whether they will be offered a permanent position and can thus plan well ahead.
Unfortunately we cannot check your full suitability for our training programs on the telephone or online as we conduct a screening test and a follow-up personal selection process that can only be carried out on site.
This is why it is important to apply as soon as possible before your travels and notify us exactly of when you will be away.
The BASF Training Verbund will usually offer you a training program close to your place of residence. The screening tests for the BASF Training Verbund are usually held in Ludwigshafen, Germany. However, this does not mean that you will be later based in Ludwigshafen. More information on the BASF Training Verbund can be found on our career pages.
Apply as soon as possible as we start selecting suitable candidates one year prior to the start of the training programs. And the earlier you apply, the better your chances are!
