Dr. Markus Kamieth

Markus Kamieth was born in Dinslaken, Germany, in 1970. He obtained his doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Essen, Germany, in 1998.

Markus Kamieth, Member of the Board, will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE effective as of the end of the Annual Shareholders´ Meeting 2024. From March until the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, he will prepare for his new role.
