The best way to handle tasks in industrial construction is on the basis of an engineering or architecture degree with a few years of business experience.

It is an advantage if you have completed your degree with very good grades; actively planned business experience indicates that you are working in a targeted way towards wide-ranging experience.

You have already demonstrated team skills, flexibility, and entrepreneurial activity - even outside the sphere of work.

We expect the willingness to learn about new tasks, foreign language skills, and professional handling of modern communications and IT tools.

We employ construction specialists in all specialist disciplines. For example, you can work in planning or process-oriented units as an engineering or construction manager. We are looking for engineers, for example, as operating managers in building management and infrastructure. We are very willing to take into account existing work experience and your personal preferences.

You will hold responsibility from day one and will receive intensive on the job training in a competent and committed team.

Depending on where you work you will be involved in planning investment projects or conversions of or extensions to existing buildings. You will clarify the construction requirements with your customers, find economic solutions and create the necessary planning and assignment documents.

As the developer's representative you will take on public law obligations during implementation and ensure seamless implementation mainly with contractors.

Our comprehensive range of seminars will facilitate your start and understanding of BASF. As required and after agreement, we will train and develop you both technically and personally. We also cover special construction technology disciplines (e.g. chimney construction, acid construction or fire protection) with our own experts. And we offer international training and development opportunities.

Some construction colleagues move into general corporate functions such as environmental protection, safety or procurement.
