Sales Specialist Vegetable Seeds

Are you a high-performing Sales Specialist with passion for driving sales in our regional organization of Agricultural Solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will have a chance to achieve ambitious sales targets by successfully developing market position of our crops and building up a long-term relationship with existing and potential customers. We welcome candidates who have a deep understanding of the business environment in the agricultural sector as well as a strong willingness to perform, learn and develop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, review, adapt and execute annual sales plans in line with M&S strategy
  • Introduce company products and services to customers in line with M&S strategy
  • Coordinate Customer Team to ensure a successful management and implementation of customer business plans with all related short- and long-term objectives
  • Build long-lasting trustful relationships with selected customers, develop a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, requirements, and objectives in order to improve customer experience
  • Provide market, price and product information in line with M&S strategy in order to contribute to developing marketing and sales plan
  • Improve market intelligence that could open new sales opportunities
  • Contribute to strengthen knowledge and excellence of the Global and Regional Crop Teams
  • Organize promotion activities, e.g. demo fields, campaigns, customer events
  • Responsible for money collection in line with financial policy and payment terms within the division
  • Contribute to the trial program in order to come up with proposals regarding new assortment
  • Manage implementation of new varieties
  • Provide technical support to customers. e.g., growing concepts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree (agriculture, business, marketing)
  • Preferably 3-5 years of work experience in sales related position in vegetable seeds business (or agro business in general)
  • Very good commercial and negotiations skills with different types of customers (distributors, farmers)
  • Ability to manage complex national customers
  • Flexibility to understand different and complex business needs
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English (Hungarian language skills would be a plus)
  • Travel availability in Serbia and international     Driving license of category B
  • Good PC skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
