BASF and Lan Chyi forge strategic alliance to introduce advanced PIR materials for Taiwan’s construction market
BASF and Lan Chyi Technologies Co., Ltd (Lan Chyi), a prominent player in Taiwan’s cold chain industry, have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce cutting-edge PIR (polyisocyanurate) materials to the Taiwanese construction sector. The collaboration seeks to address the evolving needs of the market by combining BASF’s expertise in high-performance PIR technology with Lan Chyi’s newly invested, state-of-the-art continuous production line developed by a European machinery manufacturer.
Lan Chyi’s new continuous production line, the first of its kind in Taiwan, will enhance manufacturing efficiency and product consistency of BASF’s advanced PIR materials. BASF’s technical support ensures that the PIR materials incorporated into the panels meet the highest global standards for fire resistance, thermal efficiency, durability and environmental sustainability.
