We are always looking for talented, interested students from a wide variety of fields. At BASF, we can offer an incredible amount of exciting projects and positions, for scientists, engineers, economists and humanities students. We are always open to new ideas and unconventional approaches to challenging issues.
How to become a part of our team
You can search our job database for current internship opportunities and apply directly.
What you should offer!
You have an excellent academic record alongside specialist knowledge and foreign language skills. You are open to other cultures and fields of work. Have you already gained practical industry experience and have participated in relevant activities outside the university environment? Even better! As teamwork is a key focus at our organization, we are pleased if you have strong communication skills and are a real team player. If you also know how to use your initiative and are keen to take on responsibility even during your internship - we are looking forward to meeting you!
What we offer
At BASF we generally offer internships for a duration between two and six months.
At numerous sites, we offer a variety of events in which you can get to know the world of BASF in more detail: Introductory events, site tours, and presentations at the visitor center are organized for new starters, as well as regular intern get-togethers and specialist presentations.
You will be accompanied throughout your internship by a supervisor. When you come to the end of your BASF placement, the supervisor will give you an extensive review of your work and will provide you with a detailed report of your achievements. In individual cases, we can also offer university student jobs.
