WYANDOTTE, MI, July 25, 2012 -- BASF recentlyhosted the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) Quarterly Meeting and Supplier Diversity Symposium at Silver Shores Banquet and Conference Center, in Wyandotte, Michigan.
This event, which took place on July 19, drew 150 MMSDC corporate managers who participated in a program on how to increase the impact and effectiveness of their company’s supplier diversity programs.
Louis Green, President and Chief Operating Officer, MMSDC, said, "I thank BASF for its leadership role in hosting 150 of Michigan’s leading business advocates who create opportunities and support local minority businesses to help our local economy grow. These businesses realize the benefits of supplier diversity in strengthening their company and its bottom line."
