BASF donates $20,000 to local charities and organizations in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN, January 12, 2022 — As part of its annual donations and support for the Chattanooga area, BASF donated a total of $20,000 to 15 community organizations last year.

With most of the donations occurring around the holidays, BASF contributed $5,000 to United Way, $2,000 to the Chattanooga Police Department, and $1,000 each to these 13 organizations:

  • Brainerd High School
  • Chattanooga Area Food Bank
  • Chattanooga Fire Department
  • Chattanooga Hamilton County Rescue Service
  • Chattanooga NAACP
  • Chattanooga State Community College
  • Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department
  • Hamilton County Humane Educational Society
  • McKamey Animal Center
  • Northside Neighborhood House
  • Red Bank High School
  • The Salvation Army’s Chattanooga Area Command
  • University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

“Chattanooga is a great place to live and work,” said Rob Gagliano, Site Director of BASF’s Chattanooga facility. “This community has been wonderful to us over the years, so we’re thankful for any opportunity to show our support and assist organizations who do such great work in the area.”
