BASF announces availability of Bemotrizinol (BEMT), marketed under the BASF trademark Tinosorb^® S, in the United States following the recent approval of Bemotrizinol as a sunscreen active ingredient by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

BASF’s engineering plastics plant in Minhang, Shanghai, and at the Zhanjiang Verbund site in Guangdong Province have been certified under ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification)^[1]. The certification covers renewable and recycled feedstocks and verifies their sustainable origin and allocation through a mass balance approach, offering independent traceability across the value chain.

Chemetall, the surface treatment global business unit of BASF Coatings, has opened its first application laboratory in the southern province of Tây Ninh (formerly Long An), near Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The facility provides product testing and technical support to surface treatment customers across diverse market segments such as automotive, automotive components, general industry, and plastics recycling.
