Fire hose
BASF provides not only TPU for inner liner but also TPU hotmelt for bonding to outer jacket. When used to manufacture fire hoses, Elastollan offers a high burst pressure and excellent hydrolytic stability as well as high bonding strength to outer jacket.
TPU fire hose does not lose its flexibility even at low temperature, so it can be used in low temperature environment. BASF TPU hotmelt has broad extrusion process window, excellent adhesive force with fabric, and short time of bonding process.
