Das hitzebestÃ¤ndige Polyamid UltramidÂ® Endure von BASF wird jetzt auch in zwei neuen Motoranwendungen im 2017er Alfa Romeo Giulia eingesetzt, und zwar im Ladeluftverteiler mit integriertem LadeluftkÃ¼hler sowie im Ladeluftrohr auf der heiÃ en Seite des KÃ¼hlers. Da die Temperaturen unter der Motorhaube steigen, kÃ¶nnen Automobilhersteller mit UltramidÂ® Endure, das bis 220Â°C wÃ¤rmealterungsbestÃ¤ndig ist, Motoren verkleinern und turbo-aufladen, ohne bei der Leistung Kompromisse zu machen. Die verschiedenen UltramidÂ® Endure-Typen lassen sich gut verarbeiten, zeigen eine hervorragende SchweiÃ nahtfestigkeit und sind global verfÃ¼gbar.

BASF is introducing its heat-resistant polyamide UltramidÂ® Endure in two new powertrain applications on the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia: the air intake manifold with integrated charge air cooler and the hot-side turbo duct. As heat under the hood increases, UltramidÂ® Endure with its high heat-aging resistance up to 220Â°C enables automakers to achieve engine downsizing and turbocharging without sacrificing performance.
