The Surface Treatment global business unit of BASF’s Coatings division, operating under the Chemetall brand, participates in the 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) at booth H3C9 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. As a global leader in surface treatment, BASF Chemetall once again presents at the event with its one-stop solution, featuring a fully integrated portfolio of innovative technologies, products and services for aerospace OEM (original equipment manufacturing) and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) companies.
Focusing on technological innovation and sustainable development, the booth is specially designed with a creative layout inspired by the theme of the airport, skillfully integrating elements such as check-in counters, baggage claims conveyor belts, and boarding information into the exhibition booth reception desk, product display area, and event timetable.
BASF Chemetall displays a full range of certified products and solutions from machining, non-destructive testing, pre-treatment, painting, and assembly to maintenance during the exhibition. The booth also features the newly upgraded Tech on Air 2.0 digital interactive program, which disassembles the aircraft into five major parts: fuselage exterior, aircraft structure, engine, landing gear and fuel tank, and clearly and intuitively presents product functions and unique selling points in different application scenarios from the aspects of paint removers, exterior cleaners, multi-purpose aircraft sealants, corrosion inhibiting compounds, pretreatment technologies, non-destructive testing, and metalworking fluids, offering exhibitors an engaging experience.
A series of webinar activities named as “Chemetall Air Class” will be launched during the airshow, in which experts from aerospace industry are invited to share their knowledge on different topics.
