BASF launches combined vitamin A and D3 product for animal nutrition

• Lutavit^® A/D3 1000/200 NXT provides a combination of vitamin A and vitamin D3 in one formulation
• Reliable production in the new state-of-the-art vitamin A formulation plant at the Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany
• 18-month shelf life under standard storage conditions

Ludwigshafen, Germany – October 15, 2025 – BASF is launching Lutavit^® A/D3 1000/200 NXT – a next-generation vitamin formulation – that combines vitamin A and vitamin D3 in a single, microencapsulated form. This innovative product marks BASF’s return to the market with a product that delivers convenience, performance, and sustainability.

Lutavit^® A/D3 1000/200 NXT delivers a consistent 5:1 ratio of vitamin A to D3, making it suitable for all animal species. It demonstrates superior stability across all relevant applications, even in demanding premixes and pellets. The product offers an 18-month shelf life under standard storage conditions and proven bioavailability of vitamin A in all relevant species.
