Machinery Thermal Cleaning

What is this process used for?

For cleaning/removal of paints and plastic melts from metallic components.

How does the process work?

Paints and plastics are thermally decomposed at a temperature of approx. 400 °C. The process duration varies between 20 and 80 hours, depending on the mass of the material to be removed.

What should be taken into account?

  • Components (length 8 m × width 3 m × height 3 m) can be automatically loaded into the furnace. The total weight must not exceed 25 tons.
  • There must be no contamination from fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, sulfur, or heat transfer oils.
  • A maximum of 1 ton of burn-off material per furnace cycle is permitted.
