Christoph holds a degree in business administration and has been living his enthusiasm for finance since 2019 as Chief Financial Officer at BASF Venture Capital.
He has joined BASF in 2001. After ten years in various finance functions, he has discovered the exciting work at BASF Venture Capital. In 2011, Christoph joined the venture group as an investment manager and took over the position of Chief Financial Officer eight years later. Familiar with the VC business, he is now on the lookout for groundbreaking innovations for BASF together with the team.
In addition to his enthusiasm for start-ups and the next big thing, he is a great fan of history and world literature. His contrast is cycling: Christoph loves to ride his race bikes as often as possible on scenic roads in his home region and all over Europe.
