Since 2018, Han has led BASF Venture Capital’s investment activities in China, overseeing both team management and portfolio operations in the region. An experienced investment professional with a financial background, he combines deep expertise in finance with a strong passion for cutting-edge technologies and innovative advanced materials. Han’s career spans leading institutions across Asia and beyond: he began at Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong), followed by roles at Nordea Bank (Singapore), PSF Fund (China), and Prosnav Capital (China).
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Canada), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford, and is an executive program alum of the Harvard Business School.
Beyond work, Han is an avid scuba diver and a cultivated global traveler—always on the lookout for his next dive site.
