Lei joined BASF Venture Capital as an investment manager in 2022. He is part of our team in Shanghai. His engineering background helps him quickly understand complex technical topics and translate them into investment opportunities.
Before joining BASF, Lei was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs.
He was awarded a PhD in Engineering Science by Oxford University, focusing on marine renewable energy.
He enjoys reading and travelling.
