Vanessa is a physicist and contact person for press and public relations at BASF Venture Capital in Ludwigshafen. She has always been fascinated by science journalism and public relations. Before her editorial traineeship at BASF, she studied physics and journalism in Hamburg.
She has been with BASF since 2001 – after completing her traineeship, first in communications for the Intermediates division, then since 2010 at BASF New Business GmbH and BASF Venture Capital GmbH.
Vanessa uses every free minute for reading and audio books, preferably crime novels and historical novels. She also regularly sings rock and pop songs in a women's choir.
