New Management at BASF Venture Capital

As of March 1, 2026, Heike Pfistner has taken over as the new Managing Director of BASF Venture Capital GmbH. The PhD chemist succeeds Roland Nunheim, who is assuming a new role within the BASF Group.

Heike joined BASF after completing her studies and PhD. She first worked in Research & Development for the Performance Chemicals and Care Chemicals divisions. She then moved to the Intermediates division, where she held various roles, including in New Business Development and Strategic Marketing. Later, Heike contributed to the development of new business areas for BASF. Most recently, she served as Director at BASF Stationary Energy Storage, where she was responsible for strategic marketing for stationary energy storage solutions.
