We respect internationally recognized human rights and promote their observance throughout our value chain. The BASF Policy Statement on Human Rights describes our approach to upholding this responsibility.

The BASF Human Rights Position outlines our commitment to respecting internationally recognized human rights in our own business activities and to promoting their observance in our business relationships. Based on internationally recognized standards, it sets out our human rights commitments as well as our expectations of business partners. It also describes how BASF fulfills its human rights responsibility in collaboration with relevant stakeholder groups. In addition, it covers the identification and management of human rights risks and the related risk management processes.
