BASF supports areas affected by “Heavy Rain Event of July 2018” in Japan

  • BASF donation of JPY 2 million to Save the Children
  • Employee donation campaign launched

Tokyo, Japan – July 24, 2018 – BASF Japan Ltd. will donate JPY 2 million to Save the Children Japan, to support victims of the “Heavy Rain Event of July 2018.”

Additionally, the company will launch a donation campaign among BASF employees in Japan.

Hiroki Ishida, Representative Director and President of BASF Japan Ltd. said, “We are saddened to learn about the recent heavy rain in Western Japan. We offer our deepest sympathy for those affected by the disaster and condolences to those who have lost loved ones. Our hopes and prayers go to the affected area for rapid recovery.”
