BASF appoints Narumi Fukuda as Representative Director & Vice President, Business Services for Japan

Tokyo, Japan, September 28, 2022 – BASF has appointed Narumi Fukuda as Representative Director & Vice President, Business Services for BASF Japan, effective October 1, 2022. Ms. Fakuda succeeds Nobuhiro Suda, who will support the change and subsequently retire in December 2022.

 

Ms. Fukuda started her career in General Electric International Inc, Tokyo, as part of the Financial Management Program (FMP). Post which, she moved to the company's headquarter in the US and held various positions in Finance field including Corporate Financial Planning and Analyst, Senior Finance Analyst, Corporate IT Financial Manager and Global Operations Indirect Sourcing Senior Finance Manager for more than 15 years. Most recently, Ms. Fakuda was Executive Officer and Vice President, Financial Analysis at MetLife Insurance K.K. Ms. Fakuda graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Bachelor of Science and Business Administration.
